There are over 200 Window World locations across the country.

What will I be selling at my franchise?

Window World’s core products are windows, doors, and siding, which are offered through a network of approved vendors. Window World also offers ancillary exterior products such as roofing, shutters and garage doors. 

How much inventory will I need to purchase to start?

There are very few upfront inventory costs, as all of our products are custom-ordered according to each individual job. 

How big does my store need to be?

Locations commonly consist of a showroom, offices, and warehouse space requiring at least 5,000 square feet. 

How much does it cost to open a Window World?

On average, the overall investment ranges from $122,700 – $329,000

What is the franchise fee?

The Franchise fee is $25,000. The franchise fee for qualified veterans is $10,000. In addition to the franchise fee, you will pay Window World a $20,000 equipment fee.

What does the franchise fee get me?

The fees cover your new store training, initial showroom displays for all core products, an office computer and peripherals, a $5,000 exterior signage allowance, a homeshow kit, a start-up literature packet, one year of paid-up Window World technologies (including website and CRM), and more.

How long is the process to get a franchise?

Typically, the process takes 60 - 90 days from initial inquiry to signing a franchise agreement.

Who is responsible for advertising?

While Window World Corporate invests heavily in national branding and lead generation campaigns, Franchise Owners are responsible for all local marketing and the bulk of their lead generation.

Do Window World Franchise Owners install the products they sell?

Yes. After selling windows, doors, siding, or other products, the Franchise Owner also manages the installation process. 

How long is the Window World Franchise Agreement term? 

10 years.

Do I need industry experience to open a Window World franchise?

No. Window World provides new store orientation for every Franchise Owner with the goal of bringing all owners up to speed with the “Window World Way.”

Can I also own/operate other businesses?

Yes. Owners may own and operate other non-competing businesses, such as a handyman company or other interior remodeling services.
